The 72″ kit ships in a box that is 74″ long. While the 95″ ships in a shorter box because we carefully cut a splice in full length stringers. This is later glued together forming an almost invisible splice, while keeping the cost of shipping at a minimum. Included are 1/2″ cabinet grade plywood cnc cut forms, cnc cut light deck that has holes cut for the lights, set of 1×1″cleats used for the strong back, 10 scarfed stringer, screws, all the wiring and hardware needed to wire and install the 4 LED Flat panel lights. Choice to have me router all the edges round on your forms, or you can do it with your router or sanding. A fun project for anyone with basic hand tools. Does not take very long. Looks great and should last for many years. The kayak deck is designed for 8′ build, but with some modifications, it can be lengthened or shortened some. (Recently we had to raise the price of the LED lights $10 each since they went up and was unable to purchase by bulk. Hopefully we can keep getting them.
