24″ Canoe Model kit, is the smallest of E.M. White Guide canoe model series, but packs a lot of great features like our larger kits. The 24 is built using the very easy and forgiving wood strip construction, just like building the full sized version. The smaller size is more suited for display on the small shelves, mantels or China cabinet or use the optional wall mount The 24 uses an easier to put together strong back, forms and stems which all interlock together. The stems stay in place with the finished canoe for easier finishing. The same quality clear pine strips, CNC cut parts including the one piece seat frames with actual cane seat material. Red Cedar inside and outside toe rails, along with the mahogany ply breast hooks and seats. Plus a bundle of thin pine ribbing material that you soak in hot water to make it pliable, then form into place, creating a real life canoe rib. A very nice full featured kit, small in size but not value and quality. You’ll be proud to say you built it yourself. Varnish, or paint it or put your name on it! Plus it comes with one paddle kit that is fun to make. All in all, a great little kit in small package, attractive box and label and reasonable price. You will need small clamp, pins or clothespins to hold the strips in place. Glue not included.
The size of the finished canoe is approximately 23″. The shipping box is 26″” long, 4″” wide and 2″” tall. Can be shipped anywhere in the world.”
